Would you believe that a New South Welshman has never won a Victorian Skeet High Gun until 2012, Peter Vella you’re a star !!

Did you know that Lorraine Hughes, in 2011, became the first woman to win the NSW State 12g Skeet Title? Lorraine – take a bow.

The first three high gun places in B grade at the 2011 NSW State Skeet Carnival were all JUNIORS – Joshua Bell 279, Matthew Prentice 278, Christian Lagos 275. Now that’s COOL !!!!

Did you know that the two top high gun scores at the 2011 Victorian State Titles were both shot with 20g – Gil Farish 296/300 and Blake Slater 294/300.

No New South Welshman has ever won the 2 man team at the NZ Skeet Nationals until 2015 and Shane Bennett & Wayne Petersen did it with a perfect 200/200.

Did you know that the Ladies 12g long brake record of 176 set by Maree Rooke stood for 25 years, from 1991 until 2016 when Sarah Bennett broke it setting a new record of 190, and then only 12 months later Lorraine Hughes broke it by 1 target taking the new record to 191

Did you know that the Australian 12g long brake record of 565 set by Adrian Cousens stood for 17 years, from 2000 until 2017 when Micheal Buttigieg added another 218 to it taking it to 783 WOW!!!
