NSW State Skeet Carnival - 20-22 August 2010

‘Practice makes Perfect’ … and Adrian Lucchitti’s results over the weekend were evidence of this.

With trying weather conditions on the Friday and Saturday, shooters needed to be on their game. With good numbers for the Small Gauge events on Friday and 18 squads for Saturday and Sunday, competition was keen.

With Shoot Marshall Scott Wright getting proceedings started on time, thanks to the support of the shooters for the Pre-nominations and squadding, and appointments of Referees and Scorers for those first waves, this set the standard for the whole weekend.

With the weather on the improve and Sunday being near perfect shoot conditions for the 100T NSW championship, Adrian Lucchitti posted the only 100/100 and also clinched the NSW Overall High Gun with a 293/300. A fine display of shooting over the whole weekend – congratulations Adrian!

To all the other winners we say ‘Well Done’ and to all the other competitors – Thankyou once again for supporting this Carnival. The NSW State Assoc is looking forward to continuing to grow the numbers of Skeet shooters at all levels of competition.

I would like to thank all of the Sponsors for their support and ask shooters to show their support to these sponsors whenever possible. Sponsors were; Providence Lodge, Winchester, Riverina Custom Auto Trim & Upholstery, Hidefspecs, Gunsmoke and Max Kavanagh House Relocators.

Thankyou to the State Executives and partners who volunteer so many hours in the preparation and running of the Carnival.

Thankyou to Frank Auditore for his hours of work. What a great program! Well done Frank.

Thanks also to Elaine and Donna for their very important work in the Canteen. Great job!

You will find a list of results below along with those who were successful in Team Selection.
